We topped off our latest Reset program with a mindset challenge — hiking and camping in the NZ bush. Some of these incredible women never imagined doing something like this… but they did. Two clients were 10kgs heavier & didn’t exercise at all when they signed up to work with me. Physical changes are obvious — but mindset and emotional resilience is what is behind any transformation. This challenge was a reminder; all you need is to start with one step, have a clear intention — take action and the path will unfold. 🥾🏕️ I love how the ladies in my world start as clients and end as friends. Boating life it’s a thing. 💕Teaching the boys to fish 💕Quality fam time & chats with our little mates 💕Exploring our beautiful backyard - Great Mercury Island 💕Checking in with clients about to finish the 21 day detox & onboarding clients starting Monday 💕Pot Luck Dinner with friends while kids went hedgehog hunting🦔 We are loving parenting this stage. Every stage seems to get better & better. Even though life is busy, the house & gardens are a mess - it is SO cool to see your kids froth on adventure and say YES to any opportunity that comes their way. You might be wondering why life feels like a roller coaster some days This is why⬇️ See below all the functions in the brain impacted by fluctuating estrogen levels during perimenopause: 🧠Executive functioning 🧠Processing of sensory, painful stimuli 🧠Body temp, energy & balance 🧠Learning & memory 🧠Emotion & Motivation 🧠Mood 🧠Attention, arousal & anxiety 🧠Information processing & short term memory 🧠Default mode, task preparation It’s a lot. What you commonly notice when perimenopause is knocking - changes in menstrual cycles (frequency & length), changes to flow or spotting mid cycle.
